Kish Rent A Car ("KishRent", "we") operates this website and rental branches in Muscat and Salalah, Sultanate of Oman. Head office: No. 115, Tathmeer Building, near Mohammad Al-Amin Mosque, Bowsher, Muscat, Oman.
Data we collect
- Booking details — name, email, phone/WhatsApp number, pickup and return dates and locations.
- Rental documentation — driving licence, passport or national ID details, as required by Omani rental regulations.
- Payment information — processed by our licensed payment provider; we never store full card numbers on our servers.
- Messages — enquiries you send via the contact form, chat assistant or WhatsApp.
How we use it
- To process and manage your rental booking, including pickup, delivery and returns.
- To comply with Omani law — vehicle rental records, traffic-fine handling and tax requirements.
- To answer your questions and provide customer support.
- To improve our website and services. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
Sharing
Data is shared only where necessary: with our payment processor to take payment, with insurers in the event of an accident claim, and with Omani authorities where the law requires it (for example, traffic violations during your rental).
Retention and security
Rental records are kept for as long as Omani commercial and tax regulations require, then deleted. Access to customer data is limited to staff who need it to serve you.
Your choices
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete data we are not legally required to keep. Contact us via the contact page or at any branch.
